The MethoCAD existing module for tower cranes allows to draw the tower cranes in top and elevation views. This additional module allows to check the type of mobile crane needed to dismantle the tower crane. Once the site is ended, spaces around the tower crane could be very limited, with the help of this new module, the user can check the mobile crane boom length, its angle and the loads allowed. On rehabilitation sites, accessing the site to erect the crane when the existing façade is still standing is quite complex and needs also to be simulated in order to define the mobile crane type.
