SUCCESS STORIES
The TAMAN RASUNA project was one of the biggest construction sites that could be seen in Jakarta in 1997. It included 14 towers with 27 floors each. The project covered a total area of 280 000 m2 consisting of three floors for commerce and 24 floors for housing. The project was conducted by PT WIKA, an Indonesian contractor and by DRAGAGES, a French contractor. The scale of the project meant that there was a huge quantity of vertical walls to pour and a rational preparation of the site was required. Over 5700 square meters of SATECO formworks were used, and the preparation of the site for formworks shifting was carried out using AUTOFORM software. Each floor was poured in cycles of 4 phases of 4 days including walls and slabs. This led to a fast progression of the site and to a construction time reduced by 30%. The site was also completed two months before the date it was due to be delivered.
