Building Information Modeling
BIM allows a precise and up-to-date view of all the constraints of the site in its environment and therefore real-time responsiveness to changes by the various stakeholders.
THE DIGITAL MODEL
It can be obtained in a number of ways, from Revit software, AutoCAD software, or an IFC file.
For real collaborative work, it is best to create it in Revit. For your subcontractors under AutoCAD, you will have to export your model in .SAT format, they will then be able to import the files directly in 3D into AutoCAD. The resulting mockup will be made up of real AutoCAD solids.
If you are provided with IFC format files, you can import them directly into Revit. If, on the other hand, you do not have Revit installed, .IFC files can be imported into AutoCAD using the IFC-AutoCAD converter.

PRESENTATION OF THE CONSTRUCTION SITE
The construction site creates disruptions in the life of the district. Risks may appear in the life of the neighborhood for residents. It is therefore important to present the site to residents to make them aware of the risks and anticipate them. For people who are not familiar with reading plans, viewing the site using the digital model allows them to better understand the impact of the site and its various installations.
The digital model is also a tool for communication with the various stakeholders to present the choices made and to more easily obtain authorizations from local authorities.
The model also makes it possible to detect possible interference in terms of security. It is also possible to navigate in the model, zoom in to highlight future problems, constraints or risks.
